Lawn SpreadersBroadcast spreaders allow material such as fertilizer, grass seed, salt or top dressing to fall through holes in the hopper onto a rotating disc which is powered by the forward motion of the wheels. Drop spreaders release the material in a strip immediately below the hopper, this is useful if you don’t wish to spread material beyond the width of the spreader. ATV spreaders are powered either independently or linked to a vehicles battery.
